Romping Home held up behind leading trio, hit 7th, not fluent next (water), left 3rd 9th, ridden when 2 lengths down after 3 out, led last, ridden out
Katess disputed, not fluent 8th (water), took clear advantage after next, ridden and 2 lengths ahead when blundered 2 out, headed last, no extra
Kentford Mist disputed until after 9th, weakened 11th, tailed off
Lamanver Homerun travelling well in close 3rd when blundered and unseated rider 9th
ROMPING HOME, a raider from the North, shaped with a lot of promise on her chasing debut at Bangor last time and split some promising-looking geldings when taking second place. For a long time here, it looked like she had no chance of getting involved as her jumping was very moderate, but the one thing she does do is stay and she eventually got past the second after the last fence. Connections think she wants much more testing ground than she encountered here.
Kentford Mist was well behind Katess last time and was thrashed again.
